Zero to Hero

Whether you’re coming in as an actor, dancer, stunt performer, or storyteller, this workshop is where performance meets discipline, creativity, and cinematic storytelling. You will be challenged and inspired in a supportive environment, and by the end, you will walk away with new tools, sharper instincts, and a stronger understanding of action for film.

For a select few participants, this experience may also mark an important milestone. Attendees may be shortlisted for exclusive international training opportunities in Asia, including the Jackie Chan Stunt Team Action Film Camp in Beijing or the Japan Action Film Camp in Yokohama.

This workshop is not about throwing punches for the camera. It is about learning how to tell stories through movement. The Hong Kong way. Real skill. Real rhythm. Real action. No camera cheats, no quick cuts, just clear, cinematic storytelling through physical dialogue.

The training includes 12 hours of action-focused instruction across two days, designed to build strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and confidence. Along the way, you will train alongside like-minded performers and artists who share a passion for movement and storytelling.

Select participants may be nominated for:
• The JCST Action Film Camp with the Jackie Chan Stunt Team in Beijing
• The Japan Action Film Camp with leading action directors in Yokohama

Both taking place in Summer 2026.

These camps offer rare access to international action film training and meaningful connections within the global industry.

Philip Sahagun, Head Coach at K-STAR Academy and Co-Organizer of the JCST Camp, shares:

“This workshop provides essential, foundational skills to succeed in the audition process and on screen and may even serve as a stepping stone to international action film camps in China and Japan.”

The two-day intensive concludes with a pre-viz style performance video submission used for camp shortlisting.

This is the kind of workshop we wish existed when we were starting out in the industry.
